presented by the Centers of Excellence for Aerospace and Advanced Materials Manufacturing Center
of Excellence at Edmonds and Everett Community Colleges and Marine Manufacturing & Technology
at Skagit Valley College, Whidbey Island Campus along with workshop leader and biomedical

Free Star Party / Lunar Photography Workshop

FREE Star Party / Lunar Photography Workshop - We're planning to set up a telescope in Depot Park in downtown Russellville on Saturday evening (7.21.18) for a little night sky exploration. The moon, Jupiter and Saturn should all be visible. The telescope is set up for astrophotography, so we'll also go over the basics of lunar photography. If you have a camera with a long lens, bring it out. We'll show you how to make the best use of your equipment and go over what you need to get great pictures of the moon. This event is completely FREE!

All are welcome to attend this no pressure, no questions asked free lunch. Doors open at 11:30am. Fresh coffee is served and then lunch is served at 12pm to 1pm.

In addition to the wholesome and delicious hot FREE LUNCH served two other offerings for our Neighbors are now available: Guests who come for lunch can now pick up a sack lunch to take with them and have a second free meal; and, after lunch, there are usually “take-outs” available (and, as always, generous portions of “seconds” are served before dessert.)

Also, the clergy and people of All Saints’ have begun a new “Loaves and Fishes” ministry, with Sunday morning offerings at the altar now including necessities like cereal, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, toilet paper, toiletries, hand soap, and detergent. The available items gifted each Sunday will be distributed on the following Saturday to Neighbors Table guests after the meal.

Explore the wonders of Lake Dardanelle and the Arkansas River aboard the state park tour boat (weather permitting). Enjoy abundant wildlife, amazing history, and astounding views of the river valley throughout this 1-hour cruise. There is no fee for the tour, but space is limited. You must register for the tour. Call (479) 967-5516 to register for a seat. We begin boarding 15 minutes before the tour, at the boat dock near the south boat ramp.
