The Devil Dogs renew their I-40 rivalry against the Cyclones in Week 1 of the 2018 season. Morrilton defeated Russellville last season 21-20. Dylan White passed for 58 yards and a touchdown. Jacolby Criswell added 22 yards through the air. Criswell added 63 yards and a score on the ground. Brett Jones picked up 52 yards rushing and scored a touchdown. Xaviar Clemens caught a 17 yard touchdown pass. Jake Knowles picked up two sacks and added 11 tackles while Andrew Lentz finished with five tackles and a sack. Keywan Shavers finished with eight tackles in the win.

All are welcome to attend this no pressure, no questions asked free lunch.  Doors open at 11:30 am. Fresh coffee is served and then lunch is served at 12 pm to 1 pm.  In addition to the wholesome and delicious hot FREE LUNCH served two other offerings for our Neighbors are now available:
Guests who come for lunch can now pick up a sack lunch to take with them and have a second free meal; and, after lunch, there are usually “take-outs” available (and, as always, generous portions of “seconds” are served before dessert.)
Also, the clergy and people of All Saints’ have begun a new “Loaves and Fishes” ministry, with Sunday morning offerings at the altar now including necessities like cereal, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, toilet paper, toiletries, hand soap, and detergent. The available items gifted each Sunday will be distributed on the following Saturday to Neighbors Table guests after the meal.

Letterboxing is an outdoor hobby that combines elements of orienteering, art, and puzzle solving. Letterboxers hide small, weatherproof boxes in publicly accessible places (like parks) and distribute clues to finding the box. Individual letterboxes contain a notebook and a rubber stamp. Finders make an imprint of the letterbox's stamp in their personal notebook, and leave an impression of their personal signature stamp on the letterbox's "visitors' book" or "logbook" — as proof of having found the box and letting other letterboxers know who has visited.

5th Annual Lake Bailey Canoe Race

Come join the fun of the Annual Canoe Race on Petit Jean State Park’s Lake Bailey. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the boathouse parking area, and the first heats will begin racing at 8:30 a.m. The event is open to canoes, kayaks, or other human-powered watercraft. Rental canoes, kayaks, and peddle boats are available at the boathouse for a fee of $16 for single canoes and kayaks, $20 for tandem kayaks. The general registration fee is $15. The event includes a short race, long race, beach ball relay, and lily pad pickup, as well as a special “just for kids” race. All participants are encouraged to theme their canoes and dress in themed apparel! Be a pirate, superhero, purple dinosaur, Davy Crockett, or whatever! Prizes will be awarded for the best theme and costumes. Awards and recognition is at 11 a.m. This event is sponsored by the Petit Jean Extension Homemakers Club (PJEHC) and Petit Jean State Park. Proceeds are donated to the general fund of PJEHC for worthy causes. Canoe race t-shirts are available at the park’s visitor center. Hot dogs, drinks, and chips are for sale on location.
